Creatine Cost Calculator

Compare creatine cost per 5g using current USD prices and complete labeled servings. The prefilled prices are hypothetical. Formula & worked examples.

Compare two products by cost per 5g

Use the creatine grams per complete serving, not a blend’s total powder weight. Include shipping and discounts consistently.

Product A
Product B
Enter the label numbers for both products to compare.

Lower cost does not establish better ingredient quality. The 5g unit compares prices; it is not a personal serving recommendation. Use the labeled creatine amount, not the total powder weight of a blend.

How to calculate creatine cost per serving, gram and 5g

Total labeled creatine: servings per container × grams of creatine per complete serving.

  • Cost per labeled serving: purchase price ÷ servings per container.
  • Cost per gram: purchase price ÷ total labeled creatine grams.
  • Cost per 5g: purchase price × 5 ÷ total labeled creatine grams.

The calculator reports the container's labeled creatine total and cost per 5g. Divide that cost by five if you also want the cost per gram. Comparing cost per labeled serving alone can hide a difference in creatine amounts. The 5g unit here standardizes the arithmetic; it is not a personal serving recommendation.

Find these three numbers before you compare

  1. Current purchase price in USD. Use the same price basis for both products: include shipping and discounts consistently, and distinguish a subscription offer from a one-time purchase.
  2. Servings per container. A bottle with 120 capsules is not necessarily 120 servings. If one serving is four capsules, it contains 30 complete servings.
  3. Grams of creatine per complete serving. Use the creatine amount on the label, not the total weight of a flavored blend. Convert milligrams to grams by dividing by 1,000: 5,000mg equals 5g.

Use the same named creatine ingredient and unit basis when comparing like for like. A blend with no disclosed creatine amount cannot be calculated reliably from its total powder weight. Read the real packet-label examples if the serving and packet weights differ.

Worked example: the same price can buy different creatine amounts

These are hypothetical examples, not current offers from Nutribota or another brand.

Equal price and serving count, different labeled creatine amounts
Input or result Product A Product B
Purchase price $30 $30
Complete servings 60 60
Creatine per serving 5g 3g
Total labeled creatine 300g 180g
Cost per labeled serving $0.50 $0.50
Cost per gram $0.10 About $0.1667
Cost per 5g $0.50 About $0.8333

A lower cost per 5g does not establish better quality, suitability or independent testing. Review the ingredient, other ingredients, directions and relevant product or batch evidence separately. Creatine-containing gummies, capsules and blends can differ in other ways even when the arithmetic uses the same comparison unit.

Questions about the comparison

Does one packet count as one serving?

Only if the label defines one packet as one complete serving. For Nutribota's current stick-pack format, the label states one 5g stick per serving and 60 sticks per bag. Use the current Amazon purchase price; the $30 calculator example is not Nutribota's selling price.

Can I compare a tub with packets or capsules?

Yes, when each product discloses a comparable creatine amount per complete serving. Enter the labeled serving count and creatine grams for each. Keep convenience, carrying, wrapper waste and testing as separate parts of your decision.

Does the calculator recommend how much creatine to take?

No. It compares purchase costs. Follow the directions for the product you actually use.

What is included in a shared comparison link?

The link contains the six entered numbers for the two products. Anyone with the link can see those numbers. It does not identify the exact products or verify that their prices are current. The CSV export is also a snapshot of your inputs.
